Inclusion and Accessibility

ABOUT

Inclusion

Limelight Theatre commits to inclusion, equity, and ongoing community impact.

Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Statement:

Limelight Theatre is committed to being an inclusive institution. Theatre should become a leading role in telling the stories of our past and present while projecting our future with care. We continuously reflect upon our past and develop a responsive, sustainable plan to break down access barriers for challenging racism and bias within our organization and community. Our commitment to intentionally address injustice and racism and foster inclusion, diversity, equity, and access requires that we:
  • Listen actively
  • Continuously seek learning opportunities
  • Create space for direct and open communication
  • Produce work that explores a range of complex social issues including race, religion, gender, age, class, and disability
  • Strive to meet people where they are – taking time to effect lasting change together

This is an evolving effort and will continue to develop as we learn.
