Dear Limelight Theatre Patron,

First of all, on behalf of all of us on the Board and Staff at the Limelight, we hope you and your family are healthy and staying safe. As our community continues to adapt to a new way of living due to the coronavirus pandemic, we at the Limelight have been doing what we can to respond and support you all in our own way – from ongoing communications over social media to holding virtual KidzfACTory classes for our local students who have had to jump into distance learning overnight.

As you know, things like the avoiding of large gatherings, and the closure of non-essential businesses have had significant impacts on the entire theatre industry from Broadway to community theatres like the Limelight. Some good news for the Limelight is that patrons like you have stepped up to support us during this challenging time with your encouraging messages and your financial contributions through our recently launched, The Show Must Go On, fundraising campaign.

One question that we’ve received from our patrons and one that we’ve been asking ourselves is, “When will the Limelight reopen?” The Board and Staff at the Limelight talk almost daily about the current state of affairs related to the coronavirus and how it will impact not only when we reopen, but how. As for the “when,” while we may need to make further revisions to this schedule, based on the current recommendations from the CDC and healthcare professionals, our revised schedule for the remainder of our 28th season looks like this:

A Flea in Her Ear – canceled
Little Women – postponed until further notice
Bus Stop – postponed until next season
Parade – postponed until further notice

Please know that having to cancel or even postpone any production is not an easy decision to make. If you already had reservations for any of the productions above, please review the ticketing options below. Upon reviewing, please send an email to [email protected] or call the Box Office at 904.825.1164 ext. 10 Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday between 10:00am – 12:00pm. Be sure to have your reservation details ready (name on the reservation and performance date) and we’ll help you as soon as we can.

For Subscribers:

  • An additional 3 tickets (for Pick 8 subscribers) or 6 tickets (for Pick 16 subscribers) will be added to your account when you renew your subscription for the 29th Season. (Subscription information coming soon!)

In closing, I want to thank you again for your ongoing support of the Limelight. Please continue to stay safe and healthy as we all weather this storm together. And, as always, thank you for your desire to “be part of our story”!
